Program for Capacity Exchange in Environmental Decisions (PROCEED) | Australia-Brazil Alumni
The Program for Capacity Exchange in Environmental Decisions (PROCEED) | Australia-Brazil Alumni is developed by the Institute for Capacity Exchange in Environmental Decisions (formerly International Institute for Sustainability Australia) in partnership with the São Paulo State University (UNESP) and funded by the Australian Embassy, which aims to facilitate knowledge exchange, capacity building, and research collaboration between Australian and Brazilian researchers to improve environmental decision making.
PROCEED comprises a series of six webinars led by outstanding researchers in conservation and restoration decision making from both countries and is targeted at early career scientists from Brazil and Australia. At each webinar, you will have the chance to ask questions and explore opportunities for collaboration and exchange among students, early career scientists, and experts from Brazil and Australia.
The purpose of the program is to support current and potential alumni of both Brazilian and Australian institutions to undertake projects which will strengthen Brazil-Australia collaboration in education, research, and innovation and advance knowledge and practice in environmental decision making.
